Is too much protein dangerous for the kidneys?

TOO MANY HARLOTS, IT'S RUINING YOUR KIDNEYS! ????
We've all heard that one, right?!

❌ Eating too much protein won't screw up your kidneys no. A quick nod to people who could still have this kind of speech: it is absolutely NECESSARY to constantly refresh your knowledge and to keep up to date with scientific advances (both in terms of nutrition and sport).
???? Over the last decade, numerous scientific studies have shown that a diet rich in protein (up to 2.5-3.5g per kg of body weight, over several years) has no deleterious effects on the kidneys of healthy people, without health problems.???? However, in the vast majority of cases, consuming more than 1.8g of protein per kilo of body weight has no benefit on your muscle growth.
Did you know that in nephrology, the recommendations are often around 0.8g of protein per kg of body weight if the patient has severe kidney failure... And the irony? Doctors often advise these people to consume protein powder because they have difficulty meeting their quotas?????????? ‍ ♀️
???? This publication does not in any way advise you to eat mainly proteins, of course. ✅ Is a controlled diet in macro- and micronutrients the most important thing, as well as to manage your total calories in an optimal way. ✅ Eat enough basifying foods???? to maintain a good acid-base blood balance ✅ Don't forget to hydrate yourself well????
Proteins are essential for the development of muscle mass, but also for fat loss and recovery.???????????????
